Achievement Highlights

Increase diversity within culture of inclusion at all levels

Accelerated change within the organization, with emphasis on:
- Research in the area of DEI
- Appointments to ASGE committees
- Participation as course faculty
- Industry collaboration to reach underserved areas

Increase reach & penetration of ASGE courses with new educational delivery models

A new content subscription model introduced
Hybrid nature of ASGE courses implemented, supplemented by on-demand learning

Enhancements to GIE and VideoGIE made, and the exciting launch of a third journal, iGIE

Develop & expand curricula & pathways for all levels of clinicians and their team

Differentiated resources provided for:

Create mechanisms for development & adoption of emerging technology

Technology at ASGE’s Institute Training and Technology (IT&T) upgraded with support of industry partners to further enhance the quality of education offered

Ongoing efforts to expand membership segments to include group membership and tiered membership options outside the United States
Expanded reach within the GI unit to include advance practice providers and GI technicians

Advocacy initiatives with private payors and policymakers on Medicare payment reform and other issues
Continuing certification efforts with ABIM and ABMS
Resources to help members navigate reimbursement opportunities

Continued to develop high quality, evidence-based guidelines to enhance payor coverage for emerging diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
